Injured Soul 

This little bird had a fall from the roof top and broke her right leg. Few good souls helped her from dying in pain. She was carried out of the dark hole and calmed down with kind words as she was crying in pain. A thick turmeric paste which is a typical Indian traditional medication was placed on the broken leg. Then the same leg was wrapped with a cloth as in to reduce the pain and remind the little one that leg is injured. As soon as that was done, she was still crying but this time it was pure hunger and thirst. So little pieces of bread were fed along with some water. Just as that was done, a box with paper and cloth was prepared for her as a temporary home. It has been 3 days and she is still living in our office. I hope and pray she heals well and reunites with her family.
The Universe keeps reminding me that is is always important to shower love to the needy even if they don't speak the same language as me. Just having her around at home, brings us joy and love.

Forgiveness is a Journey

    Bryant H. McGill once said,  "There is no love without forgiveness and there is no forgiveness without love."  Forgiveness is a Journey. It does not happen over night but again we only Forgive when we Let Go the past. Of course, when the realization arise from within, one will make a conscious decision to walk on that pathway. Forgiving someone means that we accept another person as who they are and move forward with a greater depth of understanding that nobody is perfect in this world.  In fact, it is not an easy effort but neither is it impossible. Generally, human beings resist to forgive only because they are afraid of being hurt again. Hence, they refrain themselves from reaching out to others with love. When one carries these pain, vengence, anger, frustrations etc. within them for a long period of time, they are only hurting themselves further. Sometimes I find it amazing how we human's react in life. We never seem to be satisfied with anything. It is our right to voice out on certain matters, no doubt on that. But again, why do we complain so much? Why is that we can never see the good side of life? When some event or matters take off well and succeed, very few actually say good things. But when something negative happens in a small or big way, it is blown up with so much of emotion. This is a worldwide scenario and is happening everywhere. Why do we always react and not respond in life? Time to ponder. I am one person who speaks from my heart. I do not believe in Violence, Condemning One another, Gossiping, Being Harsh or Putting down others.
