3 in 1 Celebration

 



30th July 2011 - LPDM Kajang Youth Wing organized a 3 in 1 celebration. This event was planned in conjunction to celebrate the Parents Day 2011, the 25th Anniversary of LPDM Head Quarters and a Reunion of all students, family and friends of LPDM Kajang over the years. Approximately about 250 people attended the event at Bukit Mewah Dewan Orang Ramai, Kajang. 

The event was inaugurated by the marching of Children & Youth of Kajang LPDM with colorful outfits, balloons, and beautiful smiles which brought happiness to the audience. Later, the event was officiated with the lighting the lamp by one of the oldest founder members of LPDM Kajang, Mrs.Vamathevan. A Bharathanathyam was performed by two young talented dancers who are students of LPDM Kajang.

                                               

Dr.Meenakshi from Sathya Sai Baba Kajang center was a guest speaker for the event. She delivered a beautiful speech which touched the hearts of the people. Mr.Raju, the President of LPDM Head Quarters and the Heads and Members of LPDM Southern Zone centers also attended the occassion.

Since it was also Adi Amavasai, a special prayer was chanted. Then, a launch for the one month celebration of 25th Anniversary of LPDM Head Quarters was carried out by the cake cutting ceremony which was joined by all the Southern Zone leaders. Slide shows of Parents Day, the 25th Anniversary and the Reunion which were presented brought so much of smiles, happiness, joy and some happy tears to many of the audience.

                                                 

All dance performances, fashion shows and slide shows were solely prepared and presented by the Youth Wing. A group of singers, Shashi & Group also performed beautiful songs. Many lucky draws and Best Dressed Awards were given to the participants. A self-service dinner with 13 items food selections were served for the night. It was indeed a very successful event which brought long lost friends and close families together. A day never to be forgotten in our lives.


The Youth Wing of Kajang LPDM wishes to thank each and every one individual for all the kid support, donations, encouragement and love. Most of all, our gratitude and thanks goes to our beloved Swami Brahma Shri Swami Sivanandha for all his blessings.

Forgiveness is a Journey

    Bryant H. McGill once said,  "There is no love without forgiveness and there is no forgiveness without love."  Forgiveness is a Journey. It does not happen over night but again we only Forgive when we Let Go the past. Of course, when the realization arise from within, one will make a conscious decision to walk on that pathway. Forgiving someone means that we accept another person as who they are and move forward with a greater depth of understanding that nobody is perfect in this world.  In fact, it is not an easy effort but neither is it impossible. Generally, human beings resist to forgive only because they are afraid of being hurt again. Hence, they refrain themselves from reaching out to others with love. When one carries these pain, vengence, anger, frustrations etc. within them for a long period of time, they are only hurting themselves further. Sometimes I find it amazing how we human's react in life. We never seem to be satisfied with anything. It is our right to voice out on certain matters, no doubt on that. But again, why do we complain so much? Why is that we can never see the good side of life? When some event or matters take off well and succeed, very few actually say good things. But when something negative happens in a small or big way, it is blown up with so much of emotion. This is a worldwide scenario and is happening everywhere. Why do we always react and not respond in life? Time to ponder. I am one person who speaks from my heart. I do not believe in Violence, Condemning One another, Gossiping, Being Harsh or Putting down others.
