Love, Joy and Compassion

Image
A day of love, joy and compassion. Why do I say that? I want to as always. It is a Saturday and that only means that I work from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Surprisingly there was no traffic jam so I reached my work place, Kota Damansara at 8.15 a.m. In like 20 minutes, I arrived. Then I went and banked in a cheque for dad at Maybank and later opened up the office. Work started usual. On Saturdays, I usually teach two foundation classes (age 3-5 ideally). It was challenging today for our first class as we had all the little champions running around. Who are they? Ying Jie and Denzel. So yes, a lot of times I had to do my discipline part. However, I noticed that no matter how much I discipline them with a high tone of voice or a stern look, they come back to me with so much of love. That definitely gives me so much of confidence that it is fine to discipline a child when he is not on the right track. Furthermore, it must be fair and explained when he or she is check mate. Joy of Journaling

“Journal writing, when it becomes a ritual for transformation, is not only life-changing but life-expanding.” – Jen Williamson.   When the word "Journaling" is mentioned, many common question arise. "Journaling? What is that? You mean I need to purchase a book and write? I am not a writer so what do I write everyday? Are there any real benefits?" It all started with me writing one or two sentences describing a specific experience and lesson for the day. As days passed by, I started writing more sentences which became paragraphs and eventually went on to few pages. However, at that tender age I did not know anything about Journaling but now knowing about it gives me greater joy in writing. The practice of writing my Journal on a daily basis made me experi...

Forgiveness is a Journey

Image
Bryant H. McGill once said,  "There is no love without forgiveness and there is no forgiveness without love."  Forgiveness is a Journey. It does not happen over night but again we only Forgive when we Let Go the past. Of course, when the realization arise from within, one will make a conscious decision to walk on that pathway. Forgiving someone means that we accept another person as who they are and move forward with a greater depth of understanding that nobody is perfect in this world.  In fact, it is not an easy effort but neither is it impossible. Generally, human beings resist to forgive only because they are afraid of being hurt again. Hence, they refrain themselves from reaching out to others with love. When one carries these pain, vengence, anger, frustrations etc. within them for a long period of time, they are only hurting themselves further. Eventually these emotions turn into negative vibrations and they deteriorate in life. At times, the vibratio...
