Love, Joy and Compassion

Image
A day of love, joy and compassion. Why do I say that? I want to as always. It is a Saturday and that only means that I work from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Surprisingly there was no traffic jam so I reached my work place, Kota Damansara at 8.15 a.m. In like 20 minutes, I arrived. Then I went and banked in a cheque for dad at Maybank and later opened up the office. Work started usual. On Saturdays, I usually teach two foundation classes (age 3-5 ideally). It was challenging today for our first class as we had all the little champions running around. Who are they? Ying Jie and Denzel. So yes, a lot of times I had to do my discipline part. However, I noticed that no matter how much I discipline them with a high tone of voice or a stern look, they come back to me with so much of love. That definitely gives me so much of confidence that it is fine to discipline a child when he is not on the right track. Furthermore, it must be fair and explained when he or she is check mate. Then we went fo...

Joy of Journaling

Image
“Journal writing, when it becomes a ritual for transformation, is not only life-changing but life-expanding.” – Jen Williamson.   When the word "Journaling" is mentioned, many common question arise. "Journaling? What is that? You mean I need to purchase a book and write? I am not a writer so what do I write everyday? Are there any real benefits?" Journaling is a very interesting expedition which has more benefits than we ever dream off in reality.   My journal writing goes way back to my childhood days whereby I used to write in a diary every other day. It all started with me writing one or two sentences describing a specific experience and lesson for the day. As days passed by, I started writing more sentences which became paragraphs and eventually went on to few pages. However, at that tender age I did not know anything about Journaling but now knowing about it gives me greater joy in writing. The practice of writing my Journal on a daily basis made me experi...

Forgiveness is a Journey

Image
Bryant H. McGill once said,  "There is no love without forgiveness and there is no forgiveness without love."  Forgiveness is a Journey. It does not happen over night but again we only Forgive when we Let Go the past. Of course, when the realization arise from within, one will make a conscious decision to walk on that pathway. Forgiving someone means that we accept another person as who they are and move forward with a greater depth of understanding that nobody is perfect in this world.  In fact, it is not an easy effort but neither is it impossible. Generally, human beings resist to forgive only because they are afraid of being hurt again. Hence, they refrain themselves from reaching out to others with love. When one carries these pain, vengence, anger, frustrations etc. within them for a long period of time, they are only hurting themselves further. Eventually these emotions turn into negative vibrations and they deteriorate in life. At times, the vibratio...

Hugs are Universal Medicine

Image
Hug is a mean of communication between individuals who want to express their simple gesture of love. It’s a fundamental aspect for physical and emotional well-being. Sadly, many children and old folks around the world are deprived for hugs. The best way to know the importance of hugs, ask those who have not received that gift. Those who have experienced the joy of hugs should share by giving the same to the needy souls. Hugs have a healing power. First of all, when a hug is exchanged, it is good for both individuals. The giver (parents/ teachers/children) develops patience within them and the receiver (children / old folks) becomes calm instantly. This later allows a strong bondage to grow between the adult and child / senior citizen. When there is an excellent bondage, a child begins to trust the individual without any doubt. Meaning as adul...

Healing Therapy

Image
" The greatest healing therapy is friendship and love", said Hubert H.Humphrey." "Healing Therapy" is a remedy carried out with two vital essence of life, " COMPASSION" and "POSITIVE THINKING". Every individual who practices this therapy consciously use their mind in a heart-center with the intention to support and assist another soul; physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Change

Sometimes I find it amazing how we human's react in life. We never seem to be satisfied with anything. It is our right to voice out on certain matters, no doubt on that. But again, why do we complain so much? Why is that we can never see the good side of life? When some event or matters take off well and succeed, very few actually say good things. But when something negative happens in a small or big way, it is blown up with so much of emotion. This is a worldwide scenario and is happening everywhere. Why do we always react and not respond in life? Time to ponder. I am one person who speaks from my heart. I do not believe in Violence, Condemning One another, Gossiping, Being Harsh or Putting down others. I will raise my thoughts if there is Injustice nevertheless I think it is not necessary to always react in life. Past one year, I have been observing myself and correcting my actions and thoughts. I have learned the truth of life. Instead of  REACTING  it is always best...
